I spoke with Amy’s 5 year old St. Bernard dog this weekend and asked him to tell me about himself.
Charlie: “I protect Myrtle.” (Myrtle is a 9 year old female St. Bernard whom Charlie lives with)
When Charlie’s person commented that he needed to reign in his “protectiveness” at certain times, he replied, “I don’t care.”
I am often made to laugh during telepathic animal communication sessions when they make brutally honest statements such as this. It’s part of what is so refreshing about talking animals as opposed to us humans as we are often very invested, for a variety of reasons, in using carefully chosen language to mask how we truly feel.
Flower: “Because we love you.”
Flower made it clear that the animals are always looking out for their human caretaker’s best interest and so they have to get straight to the point. To Flower’s credit, Dana agreed that she likes to play the music loud right through the night until bedtime and that this was not helping with the Dana’s insomnia.
Our animals choose us just as much as we choose them. They are here on their own journey but that certainly includes us and they provide is with honest and pure guidance.  We only have to be open to receiving their wisdom and to not underestimating what the animals are capable of thinking, feeling and their level of concern for our well being.
