So we’ve had a few bumps in the road, including doggie tummy troubles which meant no extra-exciting treats that can make Meesha listen in ways that she never thought she would listen before. But all in all, things are moving right along.
In fact, tonight, Meesha played with a ball-a ball that I threw to initiate the play! This is unlike Meesha who rarely plays and so I asked her what changed?
Meesha: “I feel different in here”. Where in here, in the living room? Yes, she shows me the living room that is near the front door that Meesha feels she needs to guard. But she’s not guarding, she’s playing! She shows me herself focused on the ball and it feels that the “different” means that she is not guarding the door which “feels different” to her. Amazing!
This as I head out to a little recording studio in Brooklyn to record more doggie tracks. All of hte songs are inspired by Meesha herself for a CD of children’s songs that I’m putting together. Fun and different!
