I love what I do.
One of the greatest rewards that I receive from my work with animals is how I feel as a result of seeing it’s positive effects in sometimes very difficult situations. As a fellow animal lover, I am sure you can understand this.  I will also gladly admit that part of what drives me is some of the more personal benefits that I experience as a result of my work.
I normally prepare for an animal communication session with meditation
Meditation slows down my brain activity which plays a part in being able to connect with an animal on their level. Animal’s brains operate in the alpha, theta and delta states (relaxed to deeply relaxed and sleep brain waves) whereas humans, while awake, often function in the beta state (associated with alertness, planning, anxiety and generally not a highly relaxed state of mind). When I work with an animal, I find that I naturally shift into an improved mental, emotional, physical and energetic state.
A recently published study has found that some cancer survivors have shown significant positive physical changes in their cells via meditation (and yoga)
There are many studied benefits of meditation to the various systems of the body. I have found that animal communication is akin to being in a meditative state (where alpha, theta and to some degree delta waves can all come into play). During animal energy work, massage or communication I feel very close to the state that I am in during meditation, which for me involves prayer. This includes positive effects on everything from my brain activity to my respiratory rate. Basically, I am functioning from a very grounded and attuned place.
It is also important that I maintain a relatively healthy lifestyle so that I am able to provide quality work. Therefore, my passion for helping animals pushes me to be as physically and emotionally healthy as possible.

Animals have taught me that doing the thing that you love is revitalizing to body, mind and spirit
It is, in essence, life-giving. Often animals will ask me to tell their people to do more of that person’s “love thing,” because animals naturally gravitate towards and desire to be around what is energetically positive. And of course, because they want what is best for their people!
Making some time for that “love thing” is vital to our well-being. Most important, if it is your true “love,” it will also benefit others in some way.

Animal Massage & Communication Success Story!

“Since your appointment on Monday with Timmy (Labrador Retriever, 15 yrs) I have seen him doing some of things he had not been doing for awhile now (he ran after a ball today). Hearing what he thought of his new sister (also Labrador mix) was great and I have been doing some of the things she mentioned to help her to adjust better. Basha seems to be settling down now.” Dan – Morristown, NJ
